These genetic tests are performed using the methods of “next generation sequencing” (NGS) and the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), which are both based on the analysis of the mononucleotide polymorphisms.

Since our genetic makeup does not change in the course of life, except for acquired mutations, there is no need to get tested several times.

The following specimen samples are suitable for genetic testing: saliva, EDTA blood or dried blood spots (DBS). These samples are expected to be stable for about 6 weeks when stored at room temperature. You can get the sampling kits by sending an e-mail to: contact@lr-mdl.com.
